Easily adjust FOV settings
Starfield FOV Mod is a free mod for Starfield. This utility tool is used for adjusting the default FOV, or field of view, allowing players to better check their surroundings and appreciate the game’s locations. However, the FOV settings reset whenever a player uses a workbench or fast travels.
For first-person and third-person perspectives
To install Starfield FOV Mod, players must download or create a StarfieldCustom.ini text file in their Starfield folder, which is found by clicking Documents and MyGames. With it, you can adjust the FOV from 70—the game’s default FOV—to your desired FOV.
If you want to change the FOV to, say, 100, open the text file and type [Camera] on the first line, fFPWorldFOV=100 on the second line, and fTPWorldFOV=100. “fFPWorldFOV” and “fTPWorldFOV” refer to first person and third person, respectively. Unfortunately, the add-on sometimes doesn’t work in third person.
Players can experience technical issues
Ideal for players with motion sickness, Starfield FOV Mod lets you change Starfield’s default FOV to your preferred FOV for both first-person and third-person perspectives. However, there are cases of the mod resetting a player’s FOV settings or not working in third person.
